Duncan and Cindy graciously lent us their minivan for the day, and we drove a short distance to Fairy Park in Newmarket meet up with Bette Kowalczyck, my former Portage La Prairie neighbour and good family friends. Richard was unable to make it out, but she brought little Geordie the westie along for the walk along the lake to the playground.
Had a lovely visit from about 2-4pm! Geordie's smile is so cute in this photo!
Bette hasn't changed a bit... she came prepared with sweet treats from a lovely local bakery and some drinks for everyone. We now have some delicious Ontario maple syrup for on the road as well! xo
Stopped in at the grocery store and LCBO before heading back to Duncan and Cindy's where we feasted on home made fish tacos and delicious beverages.
