We were spoiled for choice of decisions on how to spend the next few days. We had so many opportunities and it was hurting my brain on how to navigate it! We decided to take Duncan and Cindy up on their most generous offer of spending two nights with their family at their cottage on Georgian Bay.
The day got started with getting linens into the washing machine - we sure enjoyed their suite downstairs... a welcome change from the RV that we didn't know we'd appreciate so much!!. Then we borrowed Duncan's minvan to hit up the DSW shoe store for some new kicks for Ollie. He chose some nice DC skate shoes. Next was Best Buy to check out power packs for our phones since we seem to always burn through our batteries with navigation and photos/videos. Quick stop at Costco (I remembered to use my Exec coupon I got in the mail before we left!! win-win... the cashier exclaimed "Vancouver!" when she scanned it). Then to the gas station to fill up the van before getting back to the house and filling up the RV with all our stuff. Not long after we got home, Duncan was off to pick up the girls from their camp and get some cottage necessities sorted and packed. We left before Duncan, and had Khloe as our co-pilot along with Clover the dog. We had detailed directions to get the Kurt's marina at Honey Harbour and arrived in time to make a bit of pasta for "dinner" before Dunc showed up with the car.
He loaded up the boat with gear/bedding/water and all of us and we boated out through Honey Harbour as the sun was starting to set and we got to their dock in perfect time for frog hunting, beverages, chips and relaxation time.
