DAY 77 : September 22/22 Thursday. West Hartford, CT

Woke up to major rain and a thunder/lightening storm passing through! Lazy morning and awake around 8am, having coffee and the kids slowly emerged from bed. Peeked out to see Duncan moving the car and opened the RV door to shout Hello! since we didn't seem him yesterday evening. So great to see him!

Spent the day hanging out inside. Kids did some school work, I caught up on a few loads of laundry. We poured over different websites for Hop On Hop Off tours of NYC and Jonathan scouted out Ball game and hockey game options. We booked Liberty Harbour RV Park right in Jersey City (15 min from Manhattan on the PATH rail system), decided on a Tour company - TopView tours, and Jonathan got us tickets for the preseason NHL game Islanders vs Rangers at Madison Square Gardens for Monday night! He also found us a Harvest Host in New Jersey that would be about half way from there to the Capitol in Washington DC. 

After the Fletcher kids were home from school and Duncan and Becky also back from work meetings, we enjoyed a sushi feast then chatted as the boys played video games (everyone taking advantage of extra screen time than normal!). 

Yankee... sweet nervous girl. All too familiar doppleganger to our old dog, Flick. This posture is SUCH a familiar view I'd have of my sweet old boy back in the day.

Daddy finally gets them to play a board/card game with him after many weeks of asking... Sleeping Queens!
