A leisurely wake up in Wakefield again, and Jonathan made heuvos rancheros for everyone using some of Mel and Vagner's farm fresh eggs! Kids played a "carrotte" game that was quite entertaining. The Beliveau-Castilho family has a great selection of games and puzzles. Meems and Vagner worked on the safari puzzle some more with the odd helping hand from anyone who walked by that section of the dining room floor. After breakfast the boys had a jump on the trampoline for awhile until we were ready to leave. Ollie set up our usual group photo for us with their garden in the foreground.
We said our goodbyes, and armed with great information and advice about the next week ahead on our journey (great tips about Tadousac), we departed the "homestead" around 12:25pm.
On the way home we stopped in the Ottawa IKEA for a new mattress for the back bed in the rig, in hopes that it may mean better sleeping for Jonathan. We had some food at the cafeteria before shopping.
Next stop across the way was the Indigo for some books - a USA travel book, and some fun looking books for Oliver to get back into reading. Amelia found herself a book to sit and read while we perused the store.

After the errands, we went back to the Xtreme Trampoline Park and I sat and did some exel worksheet stuff while the kids jumped for half an hour. Jonathan drove the rig across the parking lot to the CAMP RV store to try and see if he can fix a possible leak in the toilet. fun times. Thank goodness he's so capable and handy.
Back at Georgina's in Kanata, ON (near Ottawa) in time for a 6pm swim. We did get a bit of a "talking to" by one of the community members because 6-7pm is supposed to be adults only in the pool, despite there being nobody remotely near the pool area and only 4 people had even signed in for the pool in the whole day. The comment was made when we were already out, which made it even sillier. Meems and Ollie enjoyed jumping for the Skip Balls that Meems got for her birthday from Uncle Ben and Aunty Jen in the UK and Amelia's swimming is really taking off. She left her snorkel mask at Leah and Khloe's house (we think) and so we will keep an eye out for another one in the future.
Back at Georgina's lovely home, everyone showered and the kiddos got to finish their Netflix movie The Abominable while the burgers were prepared. Amelia was particularly proud of her stacked veggie burger and wanted photographic evidence:
Tonight the kiddos slept on our old mattress on the floor of Georgina's basement, next to Grandma T's bedroom. They were super giddy at first but then Amelia tried to fall asleep with her brother pestering her and trying to ride the exercise bike. Goofy kids. Jonathan and I slept on the new mattress in the rig, but it wasn't cut to size yet and therefore it was extremely difficult to open and close the bathroom door, lol. (that corner needs to be cut and rounded off)
