Good morning from the KOA in Florida! Ollie and I walked over the office to check in since we were so late last night and picked up our site slip from the outside of the office. We checked out the pool area, and the laundry facilities, and spent a bit of time in the exercise room while Oliver tried out all the fitness equipment.
Walked back and collected Amelia and Jonathan to head to the pool for a swim and hot tub, while I sat poolside and tried to catch up on some blogging and photo posting. I also put some laundry on while we were swimming/computing. Once again, we had a lovely pool all to ourselves!
Jonathan showered and came back for the kids who also were forced to have showers (our kids hate showers on the road haha). They went back to the rig to do math work while I remained poolside to blog and also had a chance to chat on the phone with my folks.
Jonathan mapped out a decent bike route to the Spirit Halloween store in town and with Ollie on his bike and Meems on the back of Jay's bike, they were off to the store two miles away. The came back with an awesome scary mask for Oliver (to be revealed later), face paint, bunny ears (for Daddy's rattle bunny costume) and a little skeleton turtle. Success!
Bean Wrap dinner and then more pool time and hot tub. Met a super nice dad named Joe from Colorado who was swimming with his two little girls. Meems and the girls played in the pool together and we all chatted in the hot tub. They were also travelling in their rig and doing some homeschooling. While sat in the hot tub another older guy came over... he's been working at the KOA for the season and living there. He rv's full time and goes and visits grandkids then travels. He had neat information for us about Devil's Den... snorkeling cenote that Jonathan had booked our family for.
